Career Concepts is recruiting in the Jamestown, NY area for a Customer Service Representative. Scope: The Account Representative position is responsible for coordinating all customer service related activities; serves as a contact person for the customer, and ensures the customer has the products and services needed to conduct their business effectively. Account Representative will also up sell and cross-sell the company's product and service offerings. Key high-level deliverables will include: Providing outstanding customer service and support to our accounts and internal departments. This is a fast paced environment that requires the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks, and think independently to resolve customer issues promptly all while maintaining a professional demeanor. Primary Responsibilities: Order entry/verification of order accuracy, allocation and processing a high volume of orders Provide direct support including customer inquiries, issue resolution and fulfillment management to assigned accounts, Ongoing system maintenance including price changes, cross reference updates, inventory feeds, backorder reporting and product discontinuation maintenance, Vendor compliance and retail service management – as assigned Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, Ability to resolve escalated issues in a professional manner, Ensure orders are fulfilled on-time with proper communications transmitted,  Possess strong computer skills and Microsoft Excel proficiency, Team oriented – Willing and able to cover other positions when needed,  Self-motivated, dedicated, and takes pride in their work Provide support to internal departments, management and executives Competencies : Problem Solving- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. Oral Communication-Listens and gets clarification, responds well to questions. Written Communication-Presents numerical data effectively. Teamwork-Supports everyone’s efforts to succeed. Ethics-Treats people with respect. Skills and Abilities: Must be computer literate with proficiency in MS Word and Excel, AS400 (or similar application) with the ability to learn new computer systems. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while working independently. The ability to communicate, both written and verbal, with people at all levels of an organization. Organized with an eye for detail. Working knowledge of accounting practices and/or budgeting processes. A strong sense of urgency and commitment to get the job done timely and efficiently. Strong service orientation and an understanding of the importance of developing working relationships with both internal and external customers. Required Education and Experience: High school diploma. Two years of Customer Service experience.
