Plastics Press Operators-Excellent Growth Potential and Pay!

A plastics manufacturer on the west side of Erie is looking for plastics press operators for 1st and 3rd shift. No experience required. Pay ranges from $14-15/hr depending on shift with a raise upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring several presses at a time
• Checking parts for defects
• Trimming parts
• Packing
• Taping, labelling, and stacking boxes
• Operators will complete required paperwork throughout the shift associated with the presses they are operating
• Operators are also required to cover breaks of other associates so occasionally may cover additional presses for a short period
• General housekeeping duties are required
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

• Reliable transportation to and from work on scheduled workdays and times.
• The ability to stand for 8 hour shifts aside from break times.
• The ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, reach, grasp, and other motions as needed.
