Plastics Press Operators- 12 hour shifts

A plastics manufacturer on the west side of Erie is looking for press operators on 12-hour 1st and 3rd shifts paying $13/hr. Currently the schedule is Mon-Fri with 1-2 scheduled days off during the week and the weekends off. Each week you work 36-48 hours total.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the press to make sure there are no jams,
• Check the parts as they come off to make sure there are no quality issues,
• Stack the parts
• Pack the parts
• Box the parts &
• Tape & label the boxes,
• Palletize the boxes,
• Prepare the pallets for the forklift operators to relocate to the warehouse.

Qualifications and Skills

• There are no prior experience requirements for this position, but prior manufacturing experience is helpful.
• All training is provided.
• Must be able to stand for a 12-hour shift.
• Must be able to lift 25lbs.
